It was a really long interview process. First, I applied for the job. Then I got an interview and talked to HR. After that, I had an interview with one of the designers currently working there. The last stage was coming into the office in person to show my work and explain why I'd be a good fit.

So when I first talked to CM, I had four interviews. First, two 30-min chats with recruiters about different roles, then a 45-min one with the Group Creative Director and Art Director for a specific team, and finally a 45-min chat with the Creative Director of the partner company. The recruiter chats were mostly about my experience, strengths, and career goals, making sure we were a good fit. The interview with the GCD and AD was more about my design work (I prepped a deck), design culture, the role, and the team, with lots of questions from both sides. The last one with the CD was more chill, even though I had a deck ready, and it was cool to talk about our work philosophies and experiences. I ended up sending the deck I didn't get to show the CD to them via the recruiter.

I had a portfolio review that lasted an hour. I got some good feedback. The follow-up process was really drawn out and I felt like they were leading me on. I told them I needed to know by a specific date due to other things going on, and they assured me they could let me know within that time, but it ended up taking way longer.
