The interview process was really frustrating. The recruiter was bad at communicating and didn't send the coding take-home assessment for almost 48 hours after saying she would, and I had to email her to follow up. She also forgot to include necessary files, and it took her a week to send them after I pointed it out. After I was told I advanced, they called me 45 minutes before my presentation interview to say they added a surprise live coding portion. This was really difficult for me because I have anxiety and do poorly under pressure in live coding situations, especially with no warning. I was told my take-home and presentation were good, but I failed the unexpected live coding part. It felt like I did well on what I could prepare for but not on the spontaneous part.

The interview process was super fast and organized, taking about 4 weeks total. A recruiter reached out after I applied, and we had a quick 30-minute chat about my background. Then, I had a 30-minute video call with the manager. It was pretty chill, mostly questions about how I'd handle different scenarios, nothing too technical, just about my experience. After that, I got a take-home technical challenge that I had two days to finish, which involved a simple javascript task related to their product. The next step was an in-person interview with four people, including the manager from before. They asked mostly about my background, experience, why I wanted the job, and a few questions about how I approached the technical challenge. They said I'd hear back in a couple of weeks because of the holidays, but surprisingly, I got an offer within a few days!

It was an interview for a Technical Solutions Intern. The interview was conducted online using Zoom. The HR interviewer asked general questions about my previous experience and education. very good discipline and behavior. I received an email after two days saying that they liked my CV and conditions but preferred to go further with the applicants who applied before me. They have many positions for paid internships, but as expected, at the minimum wage. At least in Barcelona where the salaries are low, this is normal. You might work as an intern, which you can extend for another six months, or you might apply for a job at Criteo. I don't know about other people who went through this process and if they could finally find a job there.
