Data Analyst
First, an HR phone screener with a recruiter, who was really helpful throughout. Then, a behavioral interview with the Director of analytics. After that, a 1-hour SQL test, proctored by the team lead. Finally, a take-home case study on A/B testing, which was followed by a presentation and Q&A with other team leads.

Data Analyst
The recruiter initially mentioned that the Senior Analyst position had been filled internally and offered to interview me for the regular Analyst role instead. The interview started with a question about my desired compensation, as the offered salary was lower than what was advertised. I stated a figure about 15% higher than their proposed range, which led the recruiter to try and conclude the call. I clarified that my compensation expectations were negotiable, and we proceeded to discuss the team's structure and my background. A month later, I received another meeting invitation from the same recruiter. It appeared to be set up similarly to the initial interview, prompting me to email and inquire if it was a second-round interview or if they had mistakenly sent another first-round invitation. Despite receiving no response, it turned out to be another first-round interview. The recruiter then informed me on the call that I was not a good fit because the specific SQL dialect I used wasn't compatible with Criteo's systems, as their team utilizes MySQL. Therefore, it's advisable to mention your experience with MySQL.

BI Analyst
I first got an email from a recruiter on LinkedIn. We had a 30 min call where she asked about my past experience and told me about the company. Next, I had to complete a timed online test. It had questions about online marketing stuff, like CPC and A/B testing, and some percentage calculations. They told me what topics to expect beforehand, so it wasn't too hard. The last step was an in-person interview at their office with someone from the BI team. They asked about the company's product and business, plus two brain teaser questions. I wasn't too familiar with their product and missed one of those questions, so that was it for me.
- Regarding underground stations, why are there three times as many exits as entrances?
- There are four people needing to cross a river using a barge that can carry a maximum of two people. The crossing times for each person are 1 min, 2 min, 5 min, and 10 min respectively. When two people are in the barge, the crossing time is determined by the slower person. Calculate the minimum time required for all four people to cross the river.
