Account Strategist
It was a 4 round process; screen call, 1st interview with the hiring manager, panel interview with their team, and lastly a mock presentation in front of the hiring manager and 2 other managers. Wasted a month of time going all the way through for a rejection. Quickly came to see after that many people in this position do not look like me; they are mainly white and even more so, white women. Think its pretty obvious why I didn't get the role. Unless you're applying to this company for anything outside client facing stuff, you probably won't be hired if you are a POC.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a challenging client and explain how you established your boundaries?
- Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult client and how you set limits.

The interview process had a bit of back and forth. I started with a phone screening where they asked about my past experience and got to know me, like asking "Where did you hear about Criteo" and "What interested you in joining the team." They also gave a good description of the role to make sure I understood it. If they thought I was qualified, the next step was a Zoom interview with several people who introduced themselves and then took turns asking about my past roles, work styles, and general sales knowledge. After that, we did a role-play meeting with the same interviewers, acting out a sales meeting with a client. They really value being personable, having sales experience, and using data to hit sales goals. It's not a super tough interview, but you do need to study and put in some effort to get to the final stage (which doesn't guarantee a job). The process itself filters out those not willing to work a bit, but it can also make you feel like you have the job before the offer is actually made.
- What are three qualities of a good employee?
- Describe how you've used data to achieve success in a previous role.
- What would your previous employer identify as your biggest work ethic challenge?

The interview process was really professional, efficient, and gave me a lot of insight. It kicked off with a recruiter screening, which gave me a solid understanding of the role and what the hiring team was looking for. They laid out the whole process clearly and kept me in the loop. Next up was a panel interview with two managers where we chatted about my resume and how I'd fit the role. The final stage involved a case study presentation to the panel. They provided all the necessary info and help to get ready for the assignment. Both the recruiting and hiring teams were super easy to reach for any extra questions.
- Can you tell me about your communication skills and how you feel about presenting?
- How comfortable are you with presenting?
