Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Criteo.
Account Executive
The hiring process was as expected. The HR representative was timely, kept me informed, and was respectful. Interview questions were pretty standard. I was sent an automated link to schedule the interview. The interviewer was professional, polite, and punctual. Even in a tough job market, they handled things professionally, which is something some companies don't do.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Can you discuss your relevant experience?
Business Development Executive
The process was really smooth and easy to get through, no problems at all. They were transparent with communication the whole time, explaining each step really well. It was also quick, everything moved fast without any delays.
- Could you please introduce yourself and elaborate on your sales background?
Account Executive
My interview experience was pretty disappointing. It started with an HR call where we discussed my current role, and they gave an overview of the company and the position. Then, I had a second interview with the Sales Team Lead and another Account Executive. They provided instructions beforehand for a roleplay exercise. After the roleplay, they gave feedback and we had a 30-minute Q&A. Unfortunately, I felt the interviewers weren't really listening to me during both the roleplay and the Q&A. They even gave me feedback that showed they hadn't paid attention. During the Q&A, they only asked one behavioral question, but they interrupted me while I was answering and asked for a different response. It felt like they were actively looking for reasons to reject me. While the initial HR part was great, the roleplay session, despite positive feedback from them, felt like a mess. They ended up rejecting me the next day, focusing on minor negatives that likely stemmed from them not listening, and ignoring all the positives.
