The application started with a video interview. Then, a staff member asked for samples and some explanations, which I thought was a lot but submitted. I didn't hear back for 3 weeks, and after following up, they said it was competitive, which felt like a lie since they relisted the job. Looking back, it was full of red flags; I believe employers should be honest. If they didn't like my work, that's fine, but they should treat candidates better.

The first interview had three interviewers. The second interview had two interviewers. They asked questions about processes, recruiting vision, presentation skills, social media savvy, training and professional development, and work experience at past employers. They also asked things like why I left my previous job, and what I'm looking for.

Behavioral Presentation

Had an initial meeting with the hiring manager, then a follow-up interview with the Board of Directors. Both meetings were really productive and the interviewers were very engaged with their questions. The Board was thinking about changing the business development role from a straight base salary to a structure with a small base and commission, which I was enthusiastic about since I prefer working on a commission-only basis.

Behavioral Case Presentation

It was an intensive interview process where I met with most of the department heads and the administration team. Most of the interviews were crammed into a single day, making it a really long day. They presented me with a few different scenarios and asked how I would handle them.
