Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Crimson Education.
Digital Marketing
A third-party recruiter reached out and I did an initial screen with them. Then I had a user interview, followed by a take-home task which took me about 72 hours to complete. After that, I had a panel interview with three managers, and finally a culture interview. I didn't pass the culture interview because of concerns about my long-term commitment and flexibility with work hours. I had mentioned I'm flexible as long as work doesn't go past midnight, and for the long term, I said I want to focus on this role while learning other skills like SEO and social media. They seemed to see this as a red flag and turned down my application. The whole process took about a month.

Marketing Executive
The interview process kicked off with a case study presented by the Line Manager, focusing on Crimson Education's marketing strategy and how to promote it across various channels. This was followed by a second interview with the Line Manager and the HR team, which was more of a culture fit interview, covering aspects like your motivation for choosing Crimson, your suitability for the role, and your approaches to handling criticism, stress, and learning new things.

Started with some video questions, then my CV was reviewed. After waiting about a week, HR reached out for an initial call. This was followed by a couple of calls with the team: the first one with HR, the second with the team. There was also a test task and then another cultural fit call.
