First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Crescent Homes.
Data Entry Clerk
So at Crescent Home, the interview process usually has a few steps. It kicks off with a basic screening, then you'll have talks with HR, the people who would be your boss, and maybe some of the folks you'd be working with. They'll likely ask you things about your past experiences, your technical know-how, and how you'd handle different situations to see if you're a good fit. Sometimes there are also tests or assignments related to the job. It's always a good idea to look up the company beforehand, practice some common questions, and be ready to talk about your skills and what you've achieved.
- Can you start by telling me a bit about yourself?
Human Resources
It was an in-person interview. A week later, I had another interview with a different person. They told me when I'd hear back, but after that time passed, I had to follow up via email. I ended up following up three more times because I had other opportunities I was trying to move forward with. The lack of communication was surprising since I was dealing directly with executives who had no problem emailing me after hours to schedule interviews. Plus, I drove two hours each way for both interviews, one lasting thirty minutes and the other an hour.
- I was given a written assessment to determine my cultural fit.
Sales Representative
It started with a quick phone chat, then a longer phone call. After a week of emails, I had a third phone interview with another recruiter. Two days later, I got an email asking for a video submission explaining why they should pick me. Then, the first recruiter mentioned the managers were away, pushing the next step to the following week. Two weeks went by, and I finally got a date for the in-person interview the next week.
- What book do you like best?
Director of Development
The company offered a high salary, but there's a lot of turnover. The interview process felt very pushy and disorganized. The owner gave off the vibe that everyone is replaceable except for his core group. They seem to have a lot of projects and are growing, so there might be opportunities for advancement if you work hard.
- Were you asked to take the LOGB personality test?
