First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Crescent Bank.
Product Owner
The whole process took 3 months, with long gaps and little communication about what was happening next. Also, 2 out of the 3 people I talked to didn't have their cameras on.
- Could you discuss a particular Salesforce project detailed on your resume?
Business Analyst
It was a two-round interview process. The first round was an initial phone screen where they asked about my background and some quick math questions. The second round was a 4-hour interview with the team, which included two Capital One style case interviews (each lasting an hour), one technical interview, and finally, a behavioral interview.
- Tell me about your background and how you'd approach a quick math question.
- If you can do percentage calculations, then it's easy; how do you approach that type of question?
- Walk me through your experience with two Capital One style case interviews.
Loan Officer
Had two phone interviews and then one in person. They asked joke questions and nothing too serious. They cared more about who I knew in the industry than what I could do for the bank. The relationship manager was a major red flag, wish I'd seen it then. It was really unprofessional, if you know what I mean. He was obsessed with money and made that clear. I was focused on finding a good fit and building a career, funny how that worked out.
- Are you able to pass a background check?
Software Developer
There were 3 rounds. First was with the hiring manager, not technical. The second round was kind of technical. The third round was on-site and included both behavioral and technical parts. In the final round, I spoke with three different people who were at different stages and had different technical expertise. One of them really went deep into how to write specific SQL query statements.
- Given a stack-based method for parenthesis matching, what is the issue with it?
