First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cresa.
Customer Service Representative
The recruiter and interviewer were very friendly and punctual. The location was easy to find. The interview was a good length and I felt it went well. I liked it, hopefully they call me again.
- Did you ask if I have children?
Transaction Coordinator
I had one in-person interview at their Austin office and then a second round Teams interview with someone from their corporate team, both in early May. I tried to follow up about the process about 10 times over the next 3 months, but they completely ghosted me. Finally got a rejection email in August, 3 months after interviewing and after I had already started a new job. It was a really unprofessional way to treat candidates.

Marketing Associate
Started with a casual chat with someone from the marketing team about my resume and salary expectations. Then, I had a second round with two other marketing team members. One of them was pretty rude and condescending, asking very direct questions. It felt like they didn't want to be there, and one wasn't even looking at the camera, making it feel disconnected. On top of that, they asked for work samples and then ghosted me for 2-3 weeks after saying they'd reply.
- What's prompting your job search away from your current role?
Research Analyst
The interviewer didn't seem to know the job duties or anything about real estate. They asked if I'd done a lot of case studies, and I told them I'd done sales, development, rezoning, and sublease case studies, asking if those were the ones they meant. Then they asked if I'd done a 'real estate case study,' and when I asked what that entailed, they just said that if I didn't know, I clearly hadn't. They then questioned me about specific parts of the website I liked. I was familiar with the site, but they kept drilling me on the website itself, not the company. I told the recruiter afterward that I wasn't interested even if they wanted to meet again because it wasn't a good fit.
- Can you tell me what your favorite section of our website is?
- Have you completed a significant number of case studies?
- What experience do you have with real estate case studies?
