I interviewed for Credit Karma in Charlotte, NC. The process had two rounds: first HR to talk about my experience and visa status, and then a technical round focusing on SQL (CASE WHEN, JOINS, filtering, aggregations, subqueries). Even though I don't usually have problems with my accent, both interviewers had trouble understanding me. The technical interviewer seemed impatient and would answer my questions before I could finish, which made things tough.

It was alright, after two phone screens, I went to SF campus for the onsite. The whole process was okay except for two huge screw-ups. After I finished with the first four interviewers, I was supposed to meet with HR and the VP. But before that, it seemed like they had already decided not to hire me. The way they canceled the rest of the interviews, ended things, and basically rushed me out of the building was super unprofessional and not okay. I've been in the tech field for 14 years, worked in big companies, but I've never had such a bad experience. Some interviewers were good at their technical stuff but didn't seem to know or want to consider other ways to solve problems. For BI Analysts, they didn't know about advanced data mining techniques I talked about, which was weird. Even though I could answer with examples, they neither understood it nor wanted to learn.
