First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Creative World School.
Assistant Teacher
Two people interviewed me and they couldn’t be nicer! The vibe was very good! They asked like 10 questions about myself and my experience. I also asked for a tour and they happily showed me around the school.
- How would you handle difficult situations like a kid misbehaving or showing big emotions?
PreK Teacher
The interview was relaxed and well-thought-out. It took place in a bright, glass-enclosed office. The interviewer was prepared, knew their stuff, and was happy to address any questions I had.
- What is your most cherished book for children?
Preschool Teacher
I had two interviews with the directors. They explained the curriculum and policies, went over salary, and showed me around the facility. It was a straightforward process and they asked really insightful questions that I hadn't encountered before. They seemed interested in understanding my approach to teaching and the specific skills I could contribute.
- Could you describe your approach to teaching?
Teacher's Assistant
The interview process was average - it started with an email and then I came in to discuss the details of hours, pay, and my responsibilities. Things went pretty smoothly until the offer stage, and I actually didn't get the initial phone call with the offer until I called them back to ask about it.
- What are your strategies for disciplining children?
