MEL Technical Manager
I had a video screening call with two HR Officers at Creatives. It was a good screening interview. They asked questions about my background, availability, management skills, and report writing.
- Can you share your experience relevant to the MEL Manager position?
- Describe an instance where you utilized MEL data to enhance program implementation.
- Considering Creatives has a small MEL team for various projects, especially in education, how would you describe your management style?
Administrative Assistant
Interviews are super important for your career, right? They let you show off what you know, what you've done, and who you are. Getting ready is the main thing. If you're confident, clear, and give good answers, the interviewers will remember you, and it can really help your career. Interviews are super important for your career, right? Manager
The talent acquisition team was very professional and high-quality. They made sure the process and next steps at each stage were very clear. It was a collaborative environment, with multiple interview panels that included the hiring team and reps from other teams. The conversations were great, though I did get a bit tired towards the end of each panel. I did accept another offer, but I would have been happy to continue pursuing this role if it had been my first choice.
- Can you describe your approach to working with teams over which you don't have direct authority but for whom you are responsible for cross-team deliverables?
Program Associate
I applied online and after two weeks, I had a phone call with a recruiter which went well. The recruiter later emailed me to schedule an interview for the next week on Wednesday. I responded right away, but didn't hear back for the rest of the week. I followed up on Monday and saw the recruiter was out of office for a week. After following up again the following Monday, I never received a response. This whole experience with Creative was frustrating and rude.
- Can you describe how you would manage moving from a field role to working at HQ?
