The interview started with a brief screening call. Then, on May 12th, there was a technical discussion covering architecture, design, code rules, and deployment process, with a focus on real-time project implementation. Three days later, I was invited to visit Cast Software's Bangalore office on May 20th to meet the Hiring Manager. We had a discussion where they emphasized their need for candidates with product experience. The manager explained the role, his team, and the team structure. I asked about work options flexibility, mode of work, and offsite location experience. The recruiter pushed for an immediate joining within 15 days, which I declined as I wasn't looking to join that quickly. I mentioned I could join with more notice after leaving my current office. A week later, I followed up with the recruiter, and she informed me that my profile was put on hold.

Recruited via email, had to fill out the application and submit resume, and they will call or email you if you meet their requirements. Filling out the application was long so be prepared to sit for about an hour. I got a response in less than a week with the job offer and was able to begin work about two weeks later. Work was slow to begin with but as time went on it picked up a lot. Would recommend to someone looking for part time work and good pay.

I had a phone interview with HR first. After I passed that, I talked to the manager. HR then got back to me with an offer to be a merchandiser.

Found the gig on craigslist and applied. A couple months later, I got a call asking if I wanted the job. I said yes. They sent me paperwork to fill out and I paid to get it notarized and faxed it to their main office in Florida. They took a week to do a background check. Then, I got an email saying one of their reps was moving to town in a week and they were giving her the shift. It felt really quick with only a week's notice. I was bummed about their poor communication and got a bad feeling. The job might have been good, but the management seems incompetent. It also would have been nice if they reimbursed me for the notary and fax costs.
