So I had this interview, it was with 5 different people and it lasted about an hour. The first part was like a normal interview, they just asked me some questions. Then, the second part was a tour of the facility.

I got a call for an interview, but for some reason, there was no follow-up for any kind of date. I was ghosted after a few months. I'm not sure what happened. The interviewer was nice and professional and asked a few simple questions about my availability and only one question about years of working in electronics, not going into detail other than when I am available. I expected a callback after but nothing came of it.

Connected with the hiring manager through LinkedIn. Had a first interview with the hiring manager and HR. They really valued my drive (even though I traveled 90 miles) and decided to bring more of the team in to meet me the same day. After that, I met with leaders from the Customer Focus team and one of the planners I would be supervising. We discussed the company's climate and culture. They emphasized that chemistry and culture were the most important factors, and that technical skills could be acquired later.

The process started with a friendly HR phone interview where I felt comfortable and she was really passionate about the company. A follow-up interview was scheduled right away. Then, I had 3 in-person interviews. My second and third interviews were back-to-back, which was convenient. These interviews involved questions about my past experiences and technical topics, including a deep dive into how I implemented test programs at various stages and how I interact with internal and external customers. Everyone I met was very knowledgeable. I didn't get an offer, but they let me know the reasons why, which helped as I was told I lost out to someone with more industry experience. While I was kept informed, there was a noticeable delay between my interviews and the final decision.
