Online Marketing Manager
The interview process here seemed like a bit of a scam, at least for the Berlin office. It started with a straightforward HR chat. Then, I got a case study assignment and had to pick a presentation slot within a two-week window. I picked a later slot and was told to submit the case study 48 hours before, which I did. But a few days before the scheduled interview, they cancelled it, saying they'd reschedule. Then, out of the blue, the HR called in the evening to say there wouldn't be a second round at all, and my case study wouldn't even be reviewed because they went with someone who submitted their case study earlier. It felt totally unfair and not based on qualifications at all. When I pointed out their own instructions, the unfairness, and asked for feedback on my case study, they just ghosted me. It was honestly the most unprofessional interview experience ever.

Online Marketing Manager
I applied online. After about two weeks, HR reached out. I had a virtual chat with the HR manager, and it was pretty relaxed with simple questions. Then, the HR manager gave me an online test. After all that, they said they'd let me know if they wanted me to come to their office. I got an email nearly four weeks later, asking me to come to their office for an interview. This was two weeks after that. I was really hoping for this job, even turned down other offers. I interviewed with a nice manager and another senior manager who wasn't so friendly, almost ironic, making me uncomfortable. They had me do an Excel test there, and I'd already done a marketing skills test earlier. The office vibe was fun though, with younger people working there. I just wish the process was quicker and didn't build up expectations too much.

Online Marketing Manager
So I applied on LinkedIn, and a few days later, I got an email from HR. We set up a Skype interview that went for about 25 minutes. Even though the HR person was pretty new to the job (only a couple of months in), she was really nice, professional, and seemed prepared. She spoke English really well.
- Could you tell me what you know about our company?
- Can you share some technical knowledge you have about digital marketing?
- What's the difference between SEO and SEM?
