First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CRC.
Research Assistant
It was a good interview process and everything went well. The interviewers were friendly and made me feel comfortable, so I wasn't nervous at all during the session. The interview itself was in person with three interviewers. They let me know their decision within a week.
- Tell me about your long term goals and your strengths.
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was quite extensive and frankly a bit monotonous. The interviewers seemed very young and inexperienced, which made the experience somewhat overwhelming and rather dull.
- Can you tell me your name?
- Could you provide your date of birth?
Staffer
I found Chesapeake Research Consortium's job openings on their website. The online application was straightforward, not overly automated, and just required a cover letter, resume, and a writing sample. A recruiter called me a couple of weeks after I applied to check my interest and schedule a phone interview. Following that, I was invited to their office in Edgewater, MD for an in-person interview with about 3-4 coordinators I'd be working with. The interview went well, and I got the offer two days later.
- Why do you think you're the best candidate for this role?
Volunteer
It was a really good interview experience, not overly technical. They focused on my experience and presented a case-based scenario. The interview was conducted virtually by two interviewers. They started by introducing themselves and their roles.
- Can you tell me about your background and the experience you have?
- What experience do you have that is relevant to this role?
- Can you describe your background and your experience?
