First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Crawford Electric Supply.
Sales and Operations Trainee
I went through four rounds of interviews. Each interview had different people, which was great for getting a sense of the different personalities at Crawford and figuring out if it was a good fit. You really get to understand the company culture as you move through the process. Plus, you get to talk to more senior people the further you advance. The last interview was with the President and some VPs, showing that management is involved all the way through. It's pretty awesome and not something you see everywhere in the job market.
- What's your personality like and how do you handle different situations?
- Can you tell me about a time you dealt with a specific challenge?
- Describe a situation you encountered and how you navigated it.
Sales Operations
So, there were 3 rounds in total, like a phone call with HR first, then a Teams meeting with a panel, and finally an in-person panel meeting. It all happened within 2 months, and I heard back about the decision within 2 weeks after the last interview. It was pretty formal and direct, but still a good chat with everyone. They explained what the job would be like, where I could improve, and how my experience could make a difference. They also asked about my needs and how they could meet them.
- Would you say you are more driven by the desire to win, or by the fear of losing?
Purchasing Agent
The interview process was pretty involved. It started with a phone call, then there were two in-person interviews. The whole thing took about a month to a month and a half. They did end up sending an offer letter, and that's when I started.
- Did the "F" word offend you?
Manager
The interviewers were great - super friendly, really thorough, and always got back to me quickly when I had questions. They answered everything I asked and were open to my ideas. They also gave me access to their website and other info I needed. Overall, it was a good experience.
- Can you tell me about your relevant experience?
- What are your career goals?
- How do you think you'd fit into our company culture?
