The interview process was really smooth and relaxed. The people were chill, and the interview itself was super laid-back. It made me feel really good about wanting the job. They explained everything about the role, how the company works, and their policies. They also talked about career paths, all while staying calm and professional.

A recruiter reached out, and we had a phone screening where they asked some questions via email too. About a week later, I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager didn't turn their video on, and didn't say why, which made the hour-long interview really awkward. I'm not going to answer interview questions under those conditions again. The hiring manager also didn't seem very interested in my background, didn't ask many follow-up questions, and didn't mention my resume at all.

So I had an interview where I met with the hiring manager and someone who does the same job as the role I was applying for. The hiring manager jumped right into asking me questions, like she really wanted to get through them fast. The interview was about 25 minutes. Then, I spoke with the VP of HR for another 15 minutes. Finally, I had to do an interview in Spanish with the Payroll Manager to check my speaking skills. It felt like they really needed people fast and that things move super quickly there. They mentioned how fast-paced it is a lot. I didn't hear back after the interview at all. No call, no email saying no. It's a bummer as an HR person to see candidates treated like this. Companies should care about the candidate experience, even if they aren't offering the job.

Applied in April via referral, got contacted and invited to interview in May 2025. It was fast, went great, and was more of a chat than an interview. I applied for Warehouse Lead, but the interviewer was so impressed he thought they should find something better for me. They had lots of openings. When asked about hiring decisions, he thought by end of week. After a week of silence, I followed up and was told they were still interviewing and would update me. Two months later, I followed up again. No response, but three days later, the position was closed on the portal. I don't know how many applied or were interviewed, but if you promise to follow up, you should. Just updating the portal isn't enough.
