Behavioral Technical

Craig Technologies has an awful interview process, full of broken promises and no responsibility. After a good chat with Matthew Craig from Talent Acquisition, who thought I was a good fit, I reached out six times and heard nothing back. My 10+ years of CAD design and AutoCAD experience seemed to match what they needed, but Riddlehoover ignoring me shows they don't care about candidates. This sketchy behavior makes me think Craig Technologies is just collecting personal data for money, not trying to hire anyone. Job seekers, stay away from this misleading and unprofessional process.

Behavioral Technical

The initial HR chat went great, and they were really keen to bring me onto the team since I matched all the required qualifications. Even though I was up to speed on vulnerability scanning and could handle any training they offered, I didn't get the job because I lacked specific experience with a security tool that's apparently super easy to learn. They also grilled me on network technologies not even mentioned in the job posting, which was a major letdown. I'm baffled how they expect to find someone with top-secret clearance and such niche skills for that salary, especially with a full-time, on-site requirement. They seriously need to up the pay or adjust their expectations.

Behavioral Other

The interview was very chill and straightforward. A group of interviewers talked with me about my background. I shared my career experiences and my motivation for joining the company. My advice is to be yourself, stay confident, and engage in some light conversation. Asking the panel about their own experiences or tenure at the company can be a good way to connect.

I applied for a Machinist job but they interviewed me for a Supervisor role. It felt like the interview was set up to fail because I wasn't interviewed for the position I applied for, even though I thought they were considering me for it for most of the interview. My resume does lean towards supervision, but I definitely applied for the machinist position. Things changed about 75% of the way through when they started making comments referencing a situation not pertinent to craig but as a personal agenda. I doubt the CEO knew about this. I never even got a denial letter. I did email them to thank them for their time. It was uncomfortable because their agenda wasn't to hire a good machinist at all.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • The questions were mostly appropriate, but for the wrong role. I'm at a point in my career where I no longer want leadership roles; I just want to do my job well and go home.
