First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Craig HomeCare.
Licensed Practical Nurse
Talked with the RN/Clinical manager over the phone about general nursing stuff. They really care about compassion and want to know if this is more than just a job for you. Then had a meet and greet with the family/client who had the opening to see if it was a good fit for everyone. Had to get a pre-employment physical and PPD done at a local urgent care, which I had to pay for myself.
- What does being a nurse mean to you?
Licensed Practical Nurse
The supervisor was knowledgeable and communicated the company's mission effectively. A significant part of the hiring process was conducted online, which I found very convenient and perfectly suited my schedule! During the practice skills test, the supervisor observed without hovering, making me feel at ease and comfortable throughout the entire interview. The online courses and tests were satisfactory.
- What is your availability?
Branch Administrator
First, I had some initial questions over email and phone. Then, I interviewed in person with the local branch and their RN Supervisors. The last interview was with the corporate office in Wichita, KS. They paid for my flight to Wichita for the day.
- How would you handle complaints from employees or clients?
Registered Nurse
The interview process involves coming to the office for a lot of paperwork. However, the hiring team was very nice and I got some free stuff when I was hired. My friend who referred me also got a bonus.
