They asked me to create a design before the interview. They had to reschedule, and then they cancelled without a clear reason. I had already created 2 designs when I received a generic response saying I was unqualified.

The interview process was quite intense for me as it was more of an audition. There were several other girls auditioning that night. They suggested wearing shorts, a tank top, and cowboy boots. While I've seen others wear less or more, I don't think it significantly affects the audition. They're really looking for your personality and how you engage with customers. Don't be shy! You'll have to dance on the bar. Ultimately, they want to see that you're comfortable and can have fun. I was told I got selected because I yelled for the crowd to make more noise, mentioning I needed a job. The manager heard me from across the bar.

I went for an audition on a Saturday night and was there for 5 hours. The current bartenders were awesome, supportive, and fun. I had a great time at the audition. I danced a lot, met many people, and got pretty drunk. I went home feeling wild with lipstick on my neck and stomach. You need to audition and fill out an application in one go. Make sure the General Manager is there to watch you and that you speak with her. Sometimes bartenders let applicants perform just for entertainment, but they don't hire, so be sure it's worth your time. You'll need to dance on the bar and engage with the audience. They're seeking women who are cool, fun, and sassy. It's not a strip club, so no twerking is required. You don't need to be a professional dancer, just comfortable with yourself.

After you submit your application and management digs your look and what you wrote, they'll chat with you in an office for like 10-15 minutes. They wanna know what you think you can do to make their bar a cool spot for people. Pretty much, you gotta shine and be sure of yourself. How you look matters, but it won't take you as far as you might think. Then there's an 'audition'. Yep, just like in the movie. You gotta show management you're not a wallflower and know how to keep folks entertained. This audition usually happens on a different day than your first chat.

  • What makes you unique, and how much do you value financial gain?
