The interview process can be challenging. My experience at Cox has been inconsistent. Although they hired me twice for contract roles, their interview approach seems ineffective. Interviewers often lacked a clear, shared understanding of the position they were interviewing for. It was a group interview, leading to a broad range of questions that weren't particularly relevant to the role I was expecting. Generally, interviewers at Cox tend to be reserved about sharing information upfront and dive straight into their questions.

Technical Presentation

So I had a recruiter interview first, then I talked to a manager who gave me a take-home project. It was a bit of a pain because I had to pay for a Tableau subscription and it took me about 9 hours to complete. After that, there was a panel interview which also involved a presentation. It took them a few weeks to get back to me after the presentation, and they ended up going with someone else. Then, the job was posted again the same day. Honestly, it felt like a waste of my time and money, and I wasn't very happy with the lack of transparency.

I was first contacted by an HR recruiter. After that, I interviewed with the Hiring Manager. The job was postponed, so I was told the position was on hold. About a month later, I was contacted again. I interviewed with the Hiring Manager and then the VP of the department.
