Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cox Automotive.
Analyst
The interview wasn't as tough as I expected. It was more conversational towards the end. I felt it went really well. It wasn't as stressful as other interviews I've had before.
- Can you tell me about your experience in previous roles?
PMO Analyst
The interview process started with a dive into my employment history and questions around competencies. The second interview was a competency-based interview with the PMO manager, who was friendly. They asked questions about situations I'd been in before, which I was able to answer from my existing experience.
- What is the key to making a project work properly?
Analyst
The interview process seemed pretty straightforward, though it was a bit drawn out. Some departments require presentations, others don't. After putting in the work for a final interview stage, including a presentation that got positive feedback, I received zero follow-ups from their team. I only heard back a month and a half later when I withdrew, realizing I was being ghosted. I can't rate their hiring process highly; it was disrespectful and a waste of time.
- What about this role excites you?
