First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Coweta County School System.
Paraprofessional
It was a typical in-person interview with two interviewers. They asked a lot of questions about my experience and some hypothetical situations. They also asked about past situations I'd dealt with and how I handled them. They explained what a typical day looks like, some of the challenges, and my long-term goals. They mentioned I might be overqualified.
- Can you tell us about yourself?
Administrative Position
I interviewed for a non-teaching administrative job at a school. The interview itself was pretty standard, but they promised to let me know about the position by a specific date, and I still haven't heard back, well past that date. It makes me wonder about accountability when they don't follow through on their end.
- Can you describe how you organize your day?
Special Education Paraprofessional
The hiring process took about 3-4 weeks from when I applied. The interview itself was professional and involved several staff members. Overall, the process was very smooth, and I received a lot of useful information about the role.
- Can you tell me about your relevant experience for this position?
Teacher
I was a student teacher at a school, and then I had my interview at that same school after the school day finished.
- Tell me about your expectations for this position.
- What are your aspirations for this role?
