Pretty standard interview process, started with a 30-minute video call with a recruiter, then a 30-minute video call with the hiring manager. The recruiter felt like she was reading from a script but was friendly. She did most of the talking and didn't ask many questions. The hiring manager asked typical questions about my previous work and experience with relevant tools. The offered pay was low for the role, and the small team size made me wonder about training and onboarding support. It was an okay experience overall, nothing special.

The interview experience was good and pretty straightforward. It started with a recruiter call to see if I was a good fit. Then, I had an interview with the hiring manager. If that went well, I would get an offer.

A recruiter reached out after finding my profile on Indeed. We had a quick call about the role and my background. After that, I had a 1-hour webcam interview with the hiring manager, where they asked about 10-12 questions. Then, I met with a larger group for another interview, including the manager, her boss, the client success manager, and two senior BAs. They asked the same questions as the manager. A few days later, the recruiter contacted me with an offer. The whole process took about three weeks to coordinate everyone's availability.

The interview process began with a 30-minute phone screen with the recruiter. Next, I had a 30-minute call with the hiring manager. This call felt rushed because the manager mentioned it was supposed to be an hour but was only scheduled for 30 minutes. The last interview was a one-hour video call with a panel of six people, including directors, VPs, and senior analysts. Although an offer was extended, it was tens of thousands of dollars below the salary floor I had communicated to the recruiter. It was disheartening because the recruiter had initially confirmed my salary expectations were within range, and the company emphasizes pay transparency. However, they ended up offering significantly less than my floor/market rate and dismissed my negotiation attempts as personal preferences, without explaining the large discrepancy from our initial discussion. Additionally, their benefits are not as good as those at other tech companies. Due to the low pay and inferior benefits, I declined the offer. I strongly advise being very explicit about your salary requirements early on to avoid wasting everyone's time.
