You first submit your CV and application letter through the Ambitions Personnel job agency, not directly to Coveris. After that, there's a first interview face-to-face with the Sales Office Manager and a Supervisor. If shortlisted, you'll have a 2nd Interview which involves about an hour of 'shadowing' an existing CSR to see what the job is like and if you'd like the office environment. There's an opportunity to ask questions with the manager/supervisor at the end.

It was a 2 stage interview process. First I met with the plant manager and the Site Senior Engineer, then had a phone interview with the VP of Manufacturing. After the first interview, the senior site engineer gave me a tour of the plant. The shopfloor was nice and organized, manufacturing flexible plastic continuously. The first interview was average, not too hard or easy. The second interview over the phone with AG, the VP of Manufacturing, was a bit confusing because he focused on my employment history.

I applied via Timing, had a call with Timing, then a first interview with Coveris, followed by a second interview with Coveris. Only after that did I find out I didn't have enough commercial experience. It feels like this should have been clear much earlier, without scheduling so many calls and interviews before getting to the main point.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • During the first interview at Coveris, we mainly discussed the logistics side of operations (as it was with the logistics manager), without much talk about the commercial aspect.
  • Later, it turned out that the lack of commercial experience was the main reason they didn't choose me.
