First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Covenant Care.
Certified Nursing Assistant
So for my personal experience I had one phone interview that mainly focused on my work experience and if I could commute to work. But recently I've seen that more interviews are in person and there's only one interview step.
- Could you describe your past experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant?
- Tell me about your work history as a CNA.
- Would you be able to commute to the job location?
Licensed Nurse
I was interviewed but they either avoided my questions or were not honest in answering them. I did ask questions about things that were important to me regarding staffing and scheduling but my questions were not answered. They use skills survey for references which will not let you reuse references and requires at least 5 and two managers, which is hard to come by these days.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- What shifts are you open to working?
Administrative Assistant
I put in my application online and a few days later, a really nice person from HR called me. We talked about my background and what Covenant Care is looking for. Then, she set up a one-on-one interview for the next week. I met with the same HR person at their main office. She was super friendly, which made me feel a lot less anxious. The interview lasted about 45 minutes. She mentioned they still had a few more people to talk to before deciding, but they'd get back to me in a few days.
- What motivates you to join Covenant Care?
Sales and Marketing
The interview process was super thorough and gave me plenty of chances to see if the job fit me personally. They had this online personality test that was pretty accurate in seeing if my personality was a good match. After meeting the Executive Director and Regional Marketing Support in person, I had a phone interview with the regional marketing support person. It was a good process all around, letting both sides get the info they needed to decide.
- Can you discuss your prior experience that makes you a suitable candidate for this role?
