First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Covenant Care.
Registered Nurse
I met with some managers, and they seemed really positive about hiring me for weeks, but then they chose someone else. There was some confusion with the nursing managers about what they needed even though the job was posted. The employees seem really happy, and they're making good changes and additions to the business. They're also very responsive to the needs of the nursing staff.
- What prompted your departure from your previous role?
- What is your motivation for seeking employment with our organization?
Development Manager
I applied online and had a phone interview, then an in-person group interview. It was about an hour long, and the questions were about market trends and my work pace.
- What's your approach when you don't get what you're asking for, like in an auction?
- Describe how you would go about recruiting a team.
Administrative Assistant
The hiring process is generally fair. Typically, there's an initial one-on-one interview. Following that, a second interview takes place with a panel of 3-4 individuals who share their perspectives on the candidate. Candidates who are not selected for the position are informed, so there's no uncertainty for them.
- Were all the questions asked relevant to the administrative assistant role?
- Were there any unexpected questions during the interview process?
Registered Nurse
I got a phone call on Tuesday to set up my interview for Thursday. I went in and there were five other employees there. Each one asked me questions about my past jobs, and what I would do in different scenarios, and how I handled tough situations. They also let me ask them some questions. I got a call back the very next day, Friday, and they offered me the job. The orientation was really good when I first started, but now it's kind of a mess and they expect you to just figure things out yourself.
- How would you handle a difficult patient or family member?
