Coding System Design

So the interview has four parts. The first two are all about coding, checking how good you are with algorithms and solving problems. The last two are focused on system design, looking at how things scale, the architecture, and the trade-offs you make. Throughout each part, they'll ask technical questions, chat with you, and give feedback to really see where you shine.

Behavioral Technical

I had a really good interview experience at Coupang. The recruiter, Shilpi, was great from the start – professional, always got back to me, and really helpful. She told me what to expect in each step, which made me feel ready. The interviews were organized, with both technical and behavioral parts so I could show what I know. The interviewers asked good, tough questions and made it feel comfortable to talk about my solutions. All in all, with Shilpi and Divyani doing a good job coordinating, Coupang's interview process made me feel positive about the company's vibe and how they find people.

Coding System Design Behavioral

So, the interview process at Coupang was kinda all over the place. They said it'd be split into four parts: Coding, Behavior, System Design, and Bar Raiser. But in reality, each interview felt like a mashup of two or more of those things, so I didn't really get to deep dive into any one area. Like, one time, I had to do four medium LeetCode problems in just 25 minutes and then only had 10 minutes for System Design because the interviewer was 20 minutes late. It was hard to show what I could do with that time crunch. So, if you're interviewing here, be ready for things to move fast and for time management to be key, but also know that it might not be the most structured experience.
