The whole process took about 4 months. It started with an online application, then there was an exam, an interview, livescan, a medical exam, and a psych eval. I got an offer after the interview, but the pre-employment stuff took the longest because everything had to be scheduled one by one.

I sent in my application in the winter of 2015 and got to the written test and interview stage in spring 2016. The online application was pretty standard, and things moved along quicker than I figured. I met with two people at the LA HQ for the interview.
