So the hiring process here is pretty standard, a few steps to make sure we get the right folks. First, we'll write up a job description, then post it everywhere. After that, it's all about getting interviews scheduled. We do a quick chat first, then a more in-depth one, maybe in person. Then we follow up and hopefully make an offer to someone awesome.

It was a telephonic interview where I was asked generic and field-specific questions. They wanted to know my self-awareness and competencies. I had to think about my strengths and weaknesses. The interviewer confirmed my availability and called me, checking my mental presence. The interview was smooth, with both open and close-ended questions. Having a good knowledge of my resume and past achievements was necessary.
