Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at COUNTRY Financial.
Intern
First, I did a pre-recorded video interview where I had to answer some prompts and could re-record. Then, I met with the Hiring Manager, and after that, I met with the team.
- Can you introduce yourself and explain your interest in this role?
- What motivated you to apply for this specific position?
Intern
I had an interview at their corporate office with a project manager. We set up the interview over the phone at a time that worked for me. They showed me around the building, including the offices where the interns work. The interview itself was a one-on-one discussion.
- Could you explain the process for making M&M's, or how you would go about making them?
- Can you share an example of teamwork?
- Tell me about your leadership skills.
Intern
We usually scout for interns at job fairs, but all applications must be submitted online. If your application gets noticed, we'll invite you for an on-campus interview. Should you pass that stage, you might have 1 to 3 more interviews at our HQ, depending on the department you're applying to. These final interviews could be one-on-one or a panel format.
- Tell me about a case study specific to the division.
