Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at COUNTRY Financial.
Customer Service Representative
I had a phone interview first, then I had to take an assessment test. After I passed that, they scheduled a Zoom interview with me that was about an hour long, which they set up via email. I spoke with two hiring managers during the whole interview process. It was a great interview.
- What are your career aspirations for the next 5 years?
Customer Service Representative
I started with applying, then did an assessment. After that, HR called me for a 30-minute phone interview where they asked about my past work and education. Then I met with the hiring managers in person for about 60-75 minutes. They asked behavioral and general get-to-know-you questions. I also got a tour of the department to see how things work. A week later, they offered me the position. After I verbally accepted, they started the background check.
- Can you share an example of a time you successfully turned a negative customer experience into a positive one?
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was very nice. They asked mostly behavioral and CSR-specific questions. It was a pleasant interview experience because the interviewers were relaxed and not uptight. They inquired about my customer service experience and asked general customer service questions.
- Can you share a challenge you encountered in customer service?
- Tell me about a challenge you faced in customer service
