My interview experience for the Associate Solutions Engineer role was pretty disappointing. I had my technical interview on June 14th and heard back by June 17th. After giving them three times I was free, my next interview was set for June 27th. But, the night before, June 26th, they told me they had to reschedule because the panel wasn't available. This meant I had to give them new time slots again, and it finally got set for July 1st at 3 PM CST. After almost 17 days of waiting and getting ready, it was a bummer that the interview didn't even use the full time or let us talk more in-depth. Even with two interviewers, it wasn't a thorough or exciting conversation. I had to follow up a few times, and then a week later, I finally got an update saying I didn't make it.

A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn. The whole thing took over two months. I had a few rounds of interviews, some in person, some over the phone, and some via Zoom. I talked with the hiring manager, some people I'd be working with in sales and pre-sales, and then I had to give a final presentation to a bigger group. It did take a while, but I actually liked the process. Everyone I met was super smart and professional.

It took me about two months to get through the whole interview process, starting from when I first heard back from the recruiter all the way to the last interview. In each part, they gave me background info on the company and its tech, and then asked me technical questions to see if I had the right skills. Finally, there was a presentation to check if I could work with customers.
