Human Resources
The interview process was actually really good - the people I spoke with were great, it was interactive and they seemed to think a lot about things, but then I got ghosted. I never really got the final outcome and I had been through a few different rounds of interviews. Getting a yes or no would have made the experience a lot better!
- Could you share details about your past experience?
- What personal values do you hold?
- What are the company's values?
Engineering Manager
The interview process was really thorough and deliberate. First, I chatted with an internal recruiter. Then, I met with the VP of Engineering, followed by the Lead Engineer. The final stage involved two panel interviews, each lasting 1.5 hours, with four different engineers in each panel. These last interviews were mostly focused on cultural fit.
- Can you describe what a typical day would be like for you as an Engineering Manager?
- What are your thoughts on leadership and how do you approach it?
Partnership Support Specialist
Coterie's HR was really open about the whole thing. It took a long time, over a month, but they kept me updated. The project was tough but gave me a good idea of what the job would be like. I was basically told I'd get the job, but then I didn't get an official offer because the company needed to save money. I'm bummed about not getting an offer, but I really liked how the HR person handled it and would be happy to get an offer later on.
- What are your thoughts on company culture and how do you interact with people?
Growth Manager
It was a great experience overall. The hiring team responded quickly and even provided feedback in their rejection letter after the second interview, which didn't lead to an offer. It was good to know the reasons for not moving forward and the specific skills they were looking for. While it was a bit disappointing that it's a skill I could learn, I appreciate them not ghosting me or sending a generic rejection. I really liked the timeliness, honesty, and meeting the team.
- Could you tell me about your experience using Salesforce?
