So the first step was like an editing test, basically, where I had to go through a medical article that had a bunch of errors in it and fix them up. On top of that, there was also an online test that presented me with some tricky situations to see how I'd handle them.

I was really excited to apply for this intern role at Costello Medical because their culture and research seemed appealing. However, I was very disappointed by their lack of courtesy and professionalism. The recruiter seemed uninterested and inattentive throughout the interview. After I answered the first question, there was silence, and I had to prompt her after 10 seconds to see if she was still there, which was quite odd. Unsurprisingly, I was rejected with a generic email stating it was highly competitive and they regretted to inform me, but encouraged me to reach out with further questions. I emailed asking for feedback, but received no response at all. It's ironic because I spent hours researching their website, writing a cover letter, and preparing for the interview, yet they couldn't spare 5 minutes to provide feedback.

It was a pretty chill process, they asked me about my past work and what I wanted to get out of the internship. Then there was a skills test where I had to find mistakes in a document.
