Floor Staff
Basically, you just wait for a phone call, then come in to work at an arranged time. Usually, you'd shadow someone else and if they like you, they'll keep you on.
- What hours are you available to work?
Receptionist
It was a pretty straightforward interview. I had an in-person interview where we talked a lot about my previous experience and how I handle scheduling. They also asked about my phone etiquette. Just a typical interview process overall.
- Could you tell me about your availability and scheduling experience?
Shop Assistant
For this role, there wasn't really an interview process. It was more like a casual chat with the store manager right there at the shop. We talked about what the job involves and the hours I'd need to work.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience?
- What are your working hours availability?
Salon Manager
I put in my application online, and then just two days later, I was already talking with the area supervisor. It was a one-on-one meeting. It all happened really fast, and I felt pretty at ease during the conversation, especially with how the questions related to the job.
- Can you share an instance where you successfully juggled personal and professional responsibilities while maintaining a good work-life balance?
