First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Corus International.
Senior Associate
I went through 2 rounds of interviews. There were 3 interviewers total, and they took turns asking questions from a list. I got to ask them questions at the end.
- How can you use your skills to benefit Corus?
Manager
Soon after applying, I got an invite to set up a phone screen. The salary in the job posting was higher than what they planned to spend for the role. They asked about my past job experience to see if I fit the job post qualifications, which is something they could have checked on their own before the call. I decided to pull my application.
- What is your reason for seeking a new job?
Director
I had an online interview with an HR person for a regional role covering three countries. They asked a bunch of questions in Spanish. After that, I never heard back from them, not even to say I wasn't successful, and they didn't reply to my emails, which left a really bad impression.
- Can you tell me how you ensure you meet your goals?
- What's your strategy for training staff?
- What's the lowest salary you'd consider?
Technical Program Manager
The process was really smooth until a certain point. I had a recruiter call, then a panel interview, and then they offered me the position. It’s the middle of a pandemic so I asked for a remote position. They said they would like all regional employees to come to the office every day. I didn’t take the job because they changed their policy mid-hire. It seems like there is no diversity in the workplace of opinions. I was really looking forward to working with a wonderful team but working with the “higher ups” is not worth it. Worse experience ever.
- Can you tell me about yourself and why you are interested in this role?
- How would you handle a specific situation like this?
