Behavioral Technical Presentation Case

I went through 2 rounds of interviews with Corsair for a marketing job. It was pretty professional. They mostly asked about my marketing and sales background and if I understood the product market. Both rounds had tough questions and some hands-on tasks, like pretending to launch a product and writing up a marketing plan. It was hard to do those without knowing the local trends or what people think, but it shows what they're looking for in terms of strategic thinking.

Behavioral Technical

It was a pretty friendly and inviting interview process. They'd usually ask about the games you play to understand your engagement with PC gaming and the community. The screening seemed to blend into the second interview, but the third one was the most important. Even though I didn't get the job, they never told me I didn't get it. I waited two months for an update and had to reach out myself to ask for news.

Behavioral Technical

I had a recruiter screen call and then 3 interviews with managers back to back over zoom. My interviews felt great and honestly I was probably over qualified. The managers liked me and gave me good feedback on all interviews. They took a long time to follow up with me so I had to email their recruiter, she didn't respond back to me after a few days so I had to email another recruiter at a higher level. Then I received a rejection email from the first recruiter without any reason...

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied for the Front End Web Developer position and after a month, I got a call for a phone interview for that role. A week later, they rescheduled for the next day but for a Web Specialist role, which felt like a downgrade. I figured I could still impress them with my portfolio, but the hiring manager was incompetent and couldn't navigate Zoom or my portfolio. I had to screen record and present my work myself. They primarily value paid internships over personal projects or relevant experience like building web apps for a college esports team, despite mentioning esports experience in the job description. This was all for a role I didn't even want. Interestingly, a week later, a game studio contacted me about the same portfolio.
