Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cornerstone Hospice.
Registered Nurse Case Manager
Met with the hiring manager to go over my resume. It was pretty straightforward with simple questions and scenarios, plus some open-ended ones. Not too tough, I felt quite at ease. The regional director even dropped in during the interview to chime in and answer things.
- Can you tell me about a weakness you have?
PC Support Technician
I was kind of out of the loop in most cases. I felt pressured into this position as I was a Service Desk employee before. I inquired about an open position and the IT Director told me they have a different plan for me. I really did not want to do it but thinking about it made me realize that this is my opportunity to grow and of course get a larger paycheck.
- Can you do this job?
Hospice Chaplain
It was just a few questions, so I felt like I over prepared. The interviewer made me feel comfortable. It was very brief. They asked what I knew about the company and then had me speak to another person. Overall, it was a good experience.
- Can you share a meaningful end-of-life situation you encountered?
