I interviewed for the Library Student Assistant Position. They asked me about previous work experience in customer service. They also asked how I handled difficult customer service situations and to give an example of a particularly difficult customer service situation I had dealt with. They are super super focused on customer service, so really think of how you will best serve the patron in a library setting.

For Cornell Store, there was 1 interview that lasted about 30 mins. Since I worked at TechConnect, most questions were about tech products. They asked about my retail experience and if I keep up with new devices like the new iPhone every year. For Conference services, there were 2 interviews. The first was one-on-one and the second was a group interview. The first interview was behavioral, covering basic questions like strengths, weaknesses, and why they should hire me. The second round was a group interview where we did activities like games and customer-assistant role-plays.
