First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cormetech.
Lab Technician
The interview experience was great. The interviewers were very knowledgeable. They started by introducing themselves, and then asked me to talk about myself. I really liked the interview process. The interview was 40 minutes long.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What is your understanding of our company?
Senior Software Engineer
The interview had two rounds. First was a Teams call with HR and the hiring manager, where some non-job-related personality questions were asked. Second was an on-site interview that included a presentation, meetings with various directors, exec suite members, and potential teammates. Meetings with directors and teammates were 15 minutes each, while meetings with the exec suite were 30 minutes. There was also lunch with potential teammates and a facility tour.
- Tell me about your resume.
- Do you have any personality questions for us?
Development Lab Technician
I applied online, and after a couple weeks, I got a call to set up an onsite interview. I met with a manager and a supervisor there, and they were both really nice. They asked the usual questions you'd expect. After the interview, they gave me a tour of the company. I didn't hear back for three weeks, so I called them to check on the decision. About an hour later, I got an offer via email.
- In what ways do you stand out from other applicants?
Maintenance Mechanic
I had a panel interview with four people, some from technical and some from HR. They asked a mix of general and technical questions, focusing on my electrical skills.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
