The housekeeper hiring process typically starts with submitting an application or resume that includes your background and references. Following an initial screening about your availability and pay expectations, you will likely have an in-person or virtual interview. During this interview, the employer might inquire about your cleaning background, dependability, and how you manage various cleaning duties or problems. Some employers might even ask you to show your skills through a brief cleaning test or trial shift. A background check and reference call could follow, particularly for private residences. If you are chosen, you will get a job offer and a quick rundown on cleaning standards and expectations.

It was pretty easy. They seemed really happy to get an application that matched their experience needs. The first interview was with non-clinical staff. Then I had a second interview with more non-clinical people. It's interesting that they require a clinician for a role where there's no one with that specific skill set to interview with.

The interview process started with a recruiter call and then a zoom interview with the hiring manager. The last stage was supposed to be an in-person interview with a physician, but I didn't get to that part. They seemed to be focused on attention to detail and wanted to hear about experiences that demonstrated it. Most questions were about that.

So the interview for the hospital teacher role, they basically wanted to see if I had teaching experience, if I understood about special ed and general ed stuff for kids who are in the hospital or stuck at home. They also looked for empathy, flexibility, and how adaptable I am to deal with different medical issues and learning needs.
