The recruiting process started off great, the recruiter was on top of things, setting up interviews with themselves and the hiring manager pretty quickly. My first chat with the recruiter was good, I felt pretty positive about the role. But then, the interview with the hiring manager seemed to end abruptly and the vibe was different from the first chat. I sent a thank you email after, but heard nothing back from anyone. Reading other reviews here, I see this is a common thing. It's a shame because it makes the company look bad in terms of communication and how they treat candidates. Even a rejection email would be better than being ghosted, especially after multiple interviews. It's unprofessional and discouraging. How a company handles its hiring process often says a lot about its internal culture, and this left me with some doubts.

First I talked to the hiring manager about the job and what it involves. Then I had a technical interview with some of the team members who do the job now. After that, there was an onsite interview where I met with people from other teams and some senior leaders.

I was contacted by a recruiter and had an interview scheduled for the very next day. The interview consisted of the typical questions you'd expect, but surprisingly, there were no technical questions. A major drawback was the 30-minute time limit, which wasn't enough for both their questions and mine. I sent a thank you and my outstanding questions, as they requested. The most disappointing part was the complete lack of response – no answers to my questions or any update on the hiring process, despite being told I'd hear back in 1-2 weeks. It's crucial to ask all your questions before the interview concludes.

A recruiter found me on LinkedIn and reached out about a role. We set up a phone call pretty quickly. It was mostly a chat to get to know each other and exchange basic info. The interviewer seemed positive at the end and asked for my resume and to know the timeline. Then, radio silence. No follow-up from the interviewer or anyone else, and my follow-up email got no response. About a month later, the same recruiter contacted me again through another job board with the same form email. I asked if it was a continuation of the interview, but got no reply. The whole thing felt really unprofessional, and I got the vibe the recruiter was just filling time. I didn't hear back after the initial phone screen.
