Recruiter
Got a LinkedIn message from this recruiter, then they called me out of the blue. After that, their secretary reached out and we set up a phone call. Everything was going well. About two days later, we had the call. We reviewed my resume, which was nice since other agencies didn't offer that. They asked about the roles I'm looking for, as they had an opening for a Recruiter. What I didn't like was when they said, "it's THE LAW to be fully vaccinated to work for employers in NYC." This isn't accurate since those mandates ended in NYC on March 7th, 2022. This is a sensitive topic, and the company should be careful about spreading false information or trying to enforce it.
- Could you please go over your resume with me?
- Are you able to work on-site, or perhaps in a hybrid model?
- What's your earliest availability to start a new position?
General Interview
After I applied online, I got an email to schedule a chat with a recruiter. My recruiter, Danielle, was super nice and made me feel comfortable. We talked about what jobs I was interested in and my experience. She gave me some advice on my resume, so I updated it. She found me a temp job at a big company within a week.

Research Content Specialist
It was alright. No big deal. Person interviewing me was really easy-going. No hard questions other then the usual. Please note this was a contract gig. I didn't have to go through the 3 interview process for the real RES specialist position. However, I felt like contractors do about the same or many FT ask a lot from contractors that are basically well experienced.

Administrative Assistant
I had a disappointing experience with no success. They don't accept walk-ins at random times. The service was impersonal, and I was asked to leave in the cold. I couldn't speak to anyone or drop off my resume in person. They showed no compassion for the unemployed, stating they cannot and CHOOSE not to help. I was told, "We do not accept walk-ins, register online, we do not accept resumes to be handed on a walk-in basis. Here's our card and go online."
