First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CORE Response.
Director of Humanitarian Response and Technical Services
I had two interviews, both scheduled last minute with options within the next 24 hours. They mentioned there would be four interviews total if I moved forward. The first was with HR, the second a panel interview. After that, I was ghosted despite following up four times over three weeks. It felt like a slap in the face after all the time invested.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Digital Marketing Manager
I had 4 rounds for the Digital Marketing Manager role. It started with a phone screen with John. Then, I had a Zoom interview with Erika Schavezz, the hiring manager. After that, I interviewed with Rodrigo Gianello, the Creative and Brand Director, over Zoom. The final interview was a Zoom call with Jaya Vadlamudi, the VP of Comms and Marketing.
- Can you tell me about your social media strategy experience?
- What's your experience with paid advertising?
- What prompted you to apply to CORE?
Marketing
I had to answer some email questions the day before a Zoom call. The meeting itself went well, but I haven't heard back since, even though they said there would be a follow-up.
- What made you interested in this particular role?
Safety Manager
The interview process was pretty smooth, with all questions answered clearly. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they were straightforward with everything. I would say I enjoyed the interview!
- Regarding your qualifications, are you willing to utilize them in the offered position?
