First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cora.
Merchandiser
The entire process is super smooth and efficient, just like I thought it would be. It's really straightforward—once you get through the steps, you'll be hired and ready to start the very next day, no problem. Everything's organized well, so it's stress-free and easy for everyone.
- Can you explain the FIFO rule and how you would work with it?
Category Manager
I had a phone chat with HR about the job and my profile, experiences, and salary expectations. Then, I spoke with the hiring manager about the responsibilities and my background.
- Why do you think you're a good fit for this company?
- What makes you choose Cora over other retailers?
Internal Auditor
4 interviews in total, each about an hour, including an HR interview and 3 others with N+1/N+2 that ended up being quite similar with identical questions and tests. Recruitment process was a bit messy; salary range wasn't determined beforehand, there was competition with internal candidates, and there was a lack of communication with candidates. The process was very long (over 2 months).
- Could you describe the main responsibilities of an internal audit role?
Cashier
I applied online for a job, and after a few days, I got a phone call for a preliminary interview. They asked about my experience, skills, and why I wanted the job. Then, I had a video interview with the HR manager. This was a more in-depth talk about my skills and if I'd fit into the company culture. They asked me behavioral questions to see how I've handled work situations before.
- Can you describe a time you had to deal with an unhappy customer and how you resolved it?
