This hiring process was quite fast-paced. After an initial email exchange with the recruiter regarding my availability, they called me on a particular day claiming difficulty reaching me via email, which I found odd. I proceeded to schedule the first interview with the Hiring Manager, which took place on a Monday. Following that, a panel interview was set up for the Wednesday of the same week by a different contact person. During the panel interview, the HR Business Partner indicated that the recruiter would provide an update the subsequent week. However, despite my attempts to follow up twice, I never received any communication from the recruiter. After several weeks of checking the Cooper Companies portal, I eventually saw that I wasn't selected for the role. It felt like complete ghosting!

The recruitment firm was responsive, though the internal recruiters were a bit slow. Managers made time for my interview, and it felt like the interview mattered. Everyone was professional, and I didn't feel like just a number or a "have to" on a check list.

I applied online and then got a call from HR for a phone screen. After that, they scheduled me for an onsite interview. The onsite was pretty good and ran smoothly for about 4 hours. I met with Stephen Suba, John Mcnally, Colleen (a consultant), and the Global EHS leader who joined remotely.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Technical questions will be asked by the consultant since Stephen Suba didn't know anything about EHS.
  • The Site manager John didn't know EHS either and he less cares about this position.

It was a pretty simple process. First, I talked to HR on the phone, then to someone in the department, and finally, there was an in-person interview. Make sure you can talk about your background and why you're interested in working here. They might ask some technical questions, but they're pretty standard.
