Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Coolblue.
Product Owner
It was a short process, lasting about 2 weeks and involved 3 steps: first a cultural fit, then a roadmap presentation, and finally a personal fit. 5 people were involved. All interviews were face to face in the office, no online interviews. The recruiter was good.
- Can you discuss your approach to roadmapping?
- What is your experience with epics?
- Tell me about your understanding and experience with Scrum.
Product Owner
Product Owner
I had an initial screening interview. The recruiter was incredibly rude; they hadn't even read my resume, didn't want to hear me introduce myself, and kept cutting me off every 15-20 seconds. They also had no clue about the job and were just reading technical questions from a list. When I didn't give what they considered the right answer, they just ended the interview. On top of that, the salary offered was way below the market rate.
- Can you tell me the primary reasons why a team would choose to implement Scrum?
